Loved it! Sci-fi that’s not a shoot em up war series. Like the character interaction. A more interesting listen. I’m looking for more stories like this one. Luckily there’s more books in this series.

loved it. the whole thing had me laughing and family friendly to boot. my wife hates alien books but she enjoyed this one very much.

Feel good sci-fi never felt so good

I listened to other sci-fi books before, but this series is the warmest one yet. I love the comradely and kindness the characters show each other. And the fact that it's all completely clean amazes me. The technologies aren't so far fetched like other books, so it's more believable.

The narration can be a bit hard to understand sometimes with the good ol' western accent, but I got used to it after a couple hours, and love the soothing audio which matches the calming tone of the book and the characters.

10/10 would recommend.

Great "read"

These books are great! Thank you Mr Boyd for writing them. I've read all of them, so far. I'm now listening. Please don't stop.

Good story

I’m really enjoying this series, good plot, plenty of fun, and unlike most sci-fi doesn’t take itself seriously and ruin the suspension of disbelief with overly complicated explanations of how everything works. Looking forward to continuing with pack 2.
