This narrator needs to stop repeating the identity of every character after every sentence.
By the second or third chapter we have a pretty good idea of who is saying what. We do not need the constant he said or she said. That is the most annoying thing a narrator can do.

Needs work

Poor action sequences
Whiiiiny deliberately immature characters
Sadly, there’s a decent underlying plot- but it’s too much mental work to get thru it

Not Bad per se, but whiny and boring

The voice acting took a meh book and turned it almost tolerable. I am typically good about ignoring bad science if rest of story is worth it. this first in long time a story caused me to cringe. I am fan of men's romance but this was to far. The "male and female"love was just to far into the unbelievable. the beauty falls for geek if done well is entertaining if story is fun and not to stupid. This is what caused the science mistakes to glare. I know there is plenty of unknowns so going to Pluto without breaking the laws of physics can be interesting. having public nasal photos of Pluto disappeared magically locked away. I would have ignored them if the story was worth my attention. this is first time in a while I want to return a title for bad story. the author is in luck and I hope the next title is better.

lack of cohesion

I had to listen to this book a second time to remember it for this review. I felt that the story was a well crafted adventure with well written characters. It's just forgettable over all though. When I first listened to these books, I didn't bother with a review. That is how uninterested I was by the end. However, this series keeps popping up in my feed and I keep click on preview only to be reminded that I have listened to it before. So I gave it another listen and am now writing this review. It is an enjoyable series, a good purchase and listen on sale. Don't burn a credit on it. Pick it up when it is discounted below $10.00. Enjoy.
