once a year is not enough
this was amazing. everything from the politics to the modern day issues to the character's evolution. I live in South East idaho right out side Yellowstone those books strike home for me personally and the issues are real as are how old coowboys like me live in a different world from modern "men"

A really good man
Box has created a series of books about a normal, everyday man who loves his wife and daughters and is through and through a really good man. It’s such a refreshing series in that manner but you also get to learn more in depth information about current events through the eyes of a Wyoming game warden who loves his job. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Excited to see a new book!
I really enjoy these books: Joe’s practicality, MB’s adeptness, the 3 girls growing up (although Sheridan is feature prominently in this book), Nate and Liv’s lives being incorporated and filled out more for us. I have a mew respect for the raptors I’ve always watched and a desire to see more of Wyoming! Thanks CJ for another great book and David for another great listen!

Love Catching Up
Catching up with Joe and Nate is always a comfort. Narrator David Chandler sounds like an old friend, something I think we all need right now. I love that this book is action-packed in the way of westerns, and gives women a prominent role in keeping things safe at home, being part of the action and helping solve the mystery. So captivating I listened to it when I probably shouldn’t have been. CJ Box does not disappoint.

Never a dull moment!
I love the idea of taking a “green horn” IT billionaire on a hunting trip. You know it is going to be a disaster as they have no ideA of what they are getting themselves in for.
