Publisher's summary
Our nation currently suffers the consequences of the 2020 election. The criminally installed cronies, with their toxic atmosphere, are dead set against building upon the prior administration’s advancements and is in fact proceeding in the opposite direction with reckless abandon.
The negative governances are far worse than what we had feared and what we had long been warned about. Without question, there is a coup underway—one which aims to overthrow our once mighty America that so many have sacrificed their lives for. The media, along with our highest offices of law and order, who all pander to this inept president and his cabinet of anarchists, are currently corroborating against the freedoms we once took for granted; freedoms are now being frittered away by liberal legislative assemblies, who aim to eradicate our once inalienable rights and replace them with malevolent socialist reparations.
Having said all of this, the absolute and only solution to political mayhem of these proportions is detailed within the corroborative novel, 2025. It is the first in a series of three such narratives by the prospicient Oliver Cash. Upon finishing this work of fiction, one will ultimately see beyond America’s largest political transgression, perhaps even clinging ever so precipitously to the cosmic message it portends.
This fiction is not for the faint of heart, as evidenced through a mere say of un-illuminate reviews, indicating as to where the satire has hit a nerve within their embittered liberal base...they having taken offense at the story’s candor, attacking it with an acerbic academic approach. The more conservative listeners, however, have seen the story for what it truly is—an extension of the insanity occurring across our nation. You be the judge.

Story
America's political leaders have considered suffrage not a natural right but a privilege restricted by wealth, sex, race, residence, literacy, criminal conviction, and citizenship. Today, voter identification laws, political gerrymandering, registration requirements, felon disenfranchisement, and voter purges deny many millions of citizens the opportunity to express their views at the ballot box. We cannot blame the founders alone for America's embattled vote. Best-selling author Allan Lichtman notes that subsequent generations have failed to establish suffrage as a universal right.

"America's Election Handbook 2024" offers a sharp analysis of the U.S. political party system, highlighting contrasts between major party positions and challenging the necessity and consequences of strict party loyalties. It delves into the evolving ideologies of political parties and critiques the minimal involvement of grassroots movements in decision-making processes, a factor it links to the growing divide in American politics.

Story
Inspired by her research for the hit podcast Ultra, Rachel Maddow charts the rise of a wild American strain of authoritarianism that has been alive on the far-right edge of our politics for the better part of a century. Before and even after our troops had begun fighting abroad in World War II, a clandestine network flooded the country with disinformation aimed at sapping the strength of the U.S. war effort and persuading Americans that our natural alliance was with the Axis, not against it.

As good as Ultra was it did not have the time to fill in the historical holes… Prequel does that.

America's Bleak Future
This is a short book that clocks in just over 4 hrs. It is a dark future take on America's current political division. At times I found the writing a bit difficult to follow as the writer seemed to confuse the political policies of Democrats, Republicans and Libertarians. This book is a soft pass for me unless you are a big fan of this genre.

Funny at first
at first I found it funny you know truckly funny but as the story progressed it kind of lost me. once they labeled everything Republican and Democrat and things like that it lost me it lost everything that I was looking for in a story.
when I first started reading it I actually saw it as a script in some kind of a play.
it could be written into a really funny play but it has to be rewritten and the labels need to be taken out.

just a silly story
while I was expecting a story on conservative values, the story is an absurdly over dramitized version of a new world order marxist dystopia.

Interesting thought experiment
Some of the narration seemed a bit off at times, the topic is an interesting take on a possible future.

Realistic vision of the division of the US
The characters are interesting and true to their analogs. The storytelling is an older style, more like Jules Verne where you get more narration than through character experience.

Shows how extremism can go very wrong.
A great story that shows how Conservative and Liberal viewpoints are when taken to extremes and how that can end up.
Very well narrated and a good story. Looking forward to the next installment.

A thought provoking story of what could be...
Oliver Cash writes a thought-provoking story. The world is well developed, the characters are love/hate as they should be, and the story is quite provoking, no matter which side of the plotifical spectrum you find yourself. Audio Version: Scott Glennon is a great choice for this story and did a wonderful job.

Horrible
What twisted mind spewed this? Aweful, sounds like a robot narrates it. Demeans women. The author must live in a very dark place in his mind.
