Good

BOOK REVIEW.....
Winter Fusion, by Anna Hackett -----
Loved it. Fun, romantic story,

How the Glitch Saved Christmas, by Stacy Gail ----
Liked it. The characters could have used a bit more depth ti them but over all I liked it.

Galileo's Holiday, by Sasha Summers ---
This one I'm sorry to say but I just found it boring. The characters felt off and not really believable.

NARRATOR REVIEW.......
The narrators did a good job with their stories.

I loved this anthology.

These may be novellas but by no means felt short. There is romance, adventure, and a lot of feels, especially the first story. I snotted all over the place. They all had their own appeal, but that glitch is one that will stay with me for some time. Definitely worth a credit. I listened to this through Audible Escape.

Underwhelming

This trio of novellas were barely worth the sale purchase.

Ch1 How the Glitch Saved Christmas by Stacy Gail 3.5 hrs ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
The best of the bunch, this one gave a decent holiday romance with a crime procedural that played like a tame Blade Runner meets I, Robot. The story was a bit heavy handed in telling about the perils of tech and questioning what makes/keeps us human. The narrator was too dainty, failing to give cyborg detective Edison a sexy voice and the sex was “he entered her in one thrust” underwhelming.

Ch10 Galileo’s Holiday by Sasha Summers 2.25 hrs ⭐️
One hour of insta-lust surrounded by cute kids celebrating Thanksgiving meets Christmas (felt like the couple was just playing house), followed by a muddled mess of an attack and random comments about him giving up his soldier of fortune past because he doesn’t hurt women and kids.
This was nothing but coal in my stocking.

Ch15 Winter Fusion by Anna Hackett 2.75 hrs ⭐️⭐️
Barely any holiday feels and awkweird sex with zero chemistry between negotiators Bryn and Sauvenn. Based upon cursing with “by Odin” or “Freya,” and their choice to live on an ice planet, guessing Bryn’s people hail from the Norse parts of Earth. Based upon one or two mentions of his pointed ears, guessing Sauvenn is sort of elvish … or maybe Vulcanish, because his people are on the cold and calculating end, having given up marriage for basic contracts. Perhaps this is one of the author’s earlier works because
I enjoyed her Eon Warrior series, which gave feistier, pulpier, more action filled sci-fi romance.
This one was missing a lot of everything, from setting to plot to chemistry.
