"A brilliant idea." (Caitlin Moran, author and journalist)

Life-changing

This book has my head spinning. I was always attracted to minimalism, but never actually engaged it. This approach to the "curation" of your belongings makes SO much more sense to me. It appeals to my environmentalist side, and also to my "be true to yourself" side. I plan to review it again, and start implementing.

I love this book. her voice is a pleasure to hear as she outlines thing we all know deep down but don't want to admit. Stop filling the void in your life with things and start making better decisions financially and environmentally! We can do it! You can do it!

Insightful, thoughtful, enlightening

I learned a lot from Tara Button in this book about just how manipulative marketing and advertising can be, and how insidious they are in our lives.
I love when authors read their own books, so I really enjoyed that about this audiobook, as well. I have long enjoyed the idea of buying things of quality and not having to replace them every few months or couple years, but never really knew where to start or how to know what would last. I love that this book introduces concepts to help you find a timeless clothing and decorating style that suits you as an individual and it got me thinking about how to create classic, timeless looks for the things in my life.
The main criticism I have regarding the audiobook is that it often references downloading a document and there is no downloads with the book, nor can I find the documents on Tara's website. I would really like to be able to do the exercises in the audiobook, but I don't have the worksheets required because I can't find them anywhere.

loved it. great and useful tips.

loved it. this book is a great wake up call on how we treat our planet. it also provides excellent tips on how to consume mindfully. currently living in the United States, it's hard to escape the consumerism and the culture. however, knowing what can make a change and teach my family to do better is a step in the right direction.

I would buy a physical book

I wish the book was narrated by someone else. The author’s voice quality is bad and she reads fast and doesn’t pronounce clearly. I love the message and contents of the book but I couldn’t listen a minute more. I switched to a print.
