Publisher's summary

If I had to pick a bride of convenience, my first choice would not be Peach Maloney.

My 50th choice would not be Peach. Top spot on my list of occupational hazards? Yes. Royal pain in the crumpets? Yes. A bride of convenience? No.

But I've unexpectedly gone from royal bodyguard to monarch, having inherited a crown that was stolen from my family long before my birth. The kicker of this unexpected royal gift? In order to take the throne, I must find a wife.

Have I mentioned Peach would not have been my hundredth choice? But I've no other options, and she needs a favor that my new position can fulfill quite nicely. So we've agreed to play the doting newlyweds out in public.

In private, though, our rules are simple: No touching. No talking. And certainly no sex.

I should have known better than to marry a rule-breaker. Contains mature themes.

Great story but not for everyone

This was a really cute story but there were a lot of sex scenes. You definitely want to make sure that there are no young ears listening to it.

Can’t get “My Lady” out of my head lol

Very cute story about two very different humans who because of a series of unfortunate events get married. Papaya’s antics will leave you laughing your head off while Peach and Victor’s very real humanity will grab at your heart strings.

Strange story

Too farfetched for my taste. Victor's use of slang was really strange and I won't even go into the llama stuff.

Love love this book so much!!! Listening to it had brighten my day!!! From a tough work as a NICU RN I listened to it on my way to work and on my way home, and now on my days off. Just what an amazing story. The writer is very amazing too so does the narrator.

This book makes my heart petter patter. Hehehehehe oh to feel young again!!!

Storyline and actors

Great writing and narrative. Author does not disappoint. Big fan of Rom Coms. Enjoy continuity in story line.

Story is ok lead male is funny

A story of a woman who’s been burned by “the man” so to say, but reluctantly falls in love…just took some time to figure that out. Proper amount of steamy sex. Altogether alright.

A little crude

Cute story, results in places, funny teen and granny but very crude in places. Didn’t realize this was in the erotica category

Cute

It was cute at first but got boring and predictable about halfway through. Did not finish.

Hot Heir

I absolutely loved reading this book and the audio is no different. I was excited when I saw it’s Stephen Dexter and Emma Wilder. As much as I love Stephen Dexter’s “regular” voice, he does a good job with Viktor’s British European accent. I also enjoyed Emma Wilder’s slight southern twang as Peach/Papaya/Meemaw. This story will make you laugh as other Pippa Grant books.

A whacky little love story

If you’ve read any other Pippa Grant you’ll know what to expect here, a cute story with some humor (although this one was on the weak side for me), bizarre characters, low angst and a happy ending. The story was ok, but the male narrator wasn’t for me.
