Reading this book as a pre book to book 1 I will more confused! I wish it would have explained how and where than jump into a story

The amount of time I have listened to this series over the past few years is insane, but every time I listen to it I take in every word like it’s the first time. It’s just that good.

I just keep coming back, so it must be good.

One of my favorite series, blends well with the Mercy Thompson series. I keep re-listening because I can't find much to fill the nich.

Charles and Anna!! Love them!!!

I absolutely LOVE Holter Graham’s narration. He makes these amazing characters come to life. I listen to both series - Alpha & Omega and Mercy Thompson - over and over. The stories are so engaging and both narrators are the absolute best. These series are must haves!!

A 'MUST HAVE' ADDITION TO AN AWESOME SERIES

This is the prequal to Cry Wolf book 1 in P.B.'s Alpha & Omega series and, although I have already listened to the series so far, it's still a worthy listen because it finally gives us the background to Anna and Charles's story.

Yes, it's short but it packs a lot in - kidnapping, abuse, secrets, trust & respect, pack laws and punishments but we're left with a budding sweet romance between 2 unlikely people that needs lots of tender loving care which is fortunately then carried forward and seen throughout this brilliant series.

Worth a credit? Well, because I'm up-to-date with the series, it was a bit of an indulgence but if you're a fan of the series then it's a must have but I just bought it and saved my credit for a longer more expensive listen.

Patricia Briggs... Enough said.

Great series. I love Anna and Charles and the Mercy Thompson/ Alpha & Omega worlds. Honestly anything that Patricia Briggs writes I will buy, she is an excellent writer.

Holter Graham is my favorite narrator based on his work on this series. This novella first appeared in "On the prowl" and honestly was the only part of that novel that was worth reading. I was glad when she chose to sell this story individually. Although it is not necessary for you to read Mercy Thompson or this novella before reading Cry Wolf, it does help in understanding the overall plot.

Not very long so I would just buy and save your credit, but definitely worth a purchase.

I feel in love with the Mercy books so when I found out she mad an spin off and it would be about the infamous Charles and his mate I new I would be a fan. This series now has several more books and it all started with this one, and I will say I have read them all!

Listened to this more times than I'll admit. Never disappoints. Only a couple hours, so a great and short listen.

Lovely backstory to cry wolf

It does give more insight on the cry wolf book and the charles and anna franchise. You will love and the only complaint you will have is that it is not long enough!
