Liked, but not love this one
Judging by previous reviews I am in the minority when I say this story was just okay for me. I am a huge fan of Daphne Loveling MC stories, but this one just didn't convince me that Angel was head over heals for Jewell. Jillian Macie's performance was not her best and while I absolutely love Troy Duran's performances, his female voice performance grates on me. Angel is the President of the MC and has waited 7 years before deciding to finally approach Jewell??? Sorry I am not convinced. The one aspect of the story that makes it listen worthy is the sub characters and situations the MC have to deal with.

Wow!
This book was probably one of my favorites it had all of the emotions wrapped up into it and it was one of those that you just can’t put down I love it and I’m loving the series this is the third book that I’ve read!!

I thought the last one was intense... this one was more so
Duel Narration. This series has really good audio narrators! Recommended to read that way!
The plot was gripping, and I was on the edge of my seat by the end.
I wish the couple had more time together, especially after pining for 7 years. It became a bit frustrating with them at times.
Overall, it's really good!
Content warnings: Attempted SA (very intense, on page), kidnapping, violence, murder, toruture (some detail with eyeballs), toxic family, racism and homophobia (rival "gang", cult-like)

The King of the MC has found her Queen!
So happy Angel has found his one and only in Jewel. Through the scare they came out stronger and more in love. And Troy Duran, you were made for Angel’s voice! You were made for ALL the male MC voices.

The Angel and his Jewel
As president of the Lords of Carnage MC, Angel has no intention of ever settling down…he has too much responsibility riding on his shoulders. If only he wasn’t attracted to the club bartender, Jewel. Jewel ran away from home when she was 17. She has finally found a decent life un Tanner Springs as a bartender at the LOC clubhouse. Then she gets a call from her estranged parents…they’re kicking out her younger brother and sending him to Tanner Springs. Now Jewel must choose between giving in to her feelings for Angel and protecting her brother from a dangerous gang. As with a 1% MC, expect some really bad guys…and them getting their just desserts. Another great story in the LOC series.
