About this listen

Anger Management: How to Take Control of Your Anger, Develop Self Control, and Live a Happier Life

If you want to live a more successful, healthier, and more enjoyable life, you have to learn how to overcome negative emotions.

Strong and raw emotions like anger often rob us of the joy we could otherwise be enjoying. Anger burns - not just emotionally, but psychologically and physically as well.

Sadly, most people hang on to their anger or try to handle it in less than optimal ways. No wonder too many people are struggling with careers and relationships that are not as successful or as happy as they could be.

This book steps you through the process of highly effective thinking processes that can defuse and re-channel your anger. Unlike the typical anger self-help book, this book uses a step-by-step experience-based approach.

This book helps you deal with your anger issues by starting at the beginning how you choose to judge the stimuli or feedback you are receiving from the world.

From this strong foundation, you will be able to handle situations without getting angry, or if you have no choice but to respond with anger, you will be able to do it positively.

Yes, there is such a thing as positive anger. By channeling this powerful emotion to more productive releases, you not only get out from under the risk of reacting in the worst way possible, you also achieve great progress in other areas of your life.

Listen to this book to finally make anger work for you instead of against you!

informative & helpful

This book was absolutely full of information & tips for everyone, no matter how in control of their anger they are. However, it felt quite focused on men, who to be fair often have more outward anger issues, but seems unfortunate since this book would benefit everyone. Additionally, the writing was a little too persuasive in nature, when it feels like people who have already decided to buy/listen to the book don't need to be persuaded since they're already here, and those book minutes could be spent presenting the material more in depth instead.

As far as the narration is concerned: the book is apparently full of short little sections with titles based on the first sentences, so hearing those read out loud in a row was distracting/annoying to me anyway. However, the narrator was otherwise pleasant to listen to.

I listened to this at 1.90x speed.

I was given an advanced copy for free, but this neither affected my opinions nor my review.

Significant book to getting outrage.

Significant book to getting outrage. The book is exact in author's perspective on indignation, how a great many people adapt, and makes you consider the past in the present, completing a decent soul look inside yourself, and use systems to deal with your resentment, and not oversee others for your very own self wellbeing.

What I loved about the book!

What I loved about the book is that it perceived indignation as a genuine feeling to be comprehended and not smothered. It is genuine additionally as this book involves that huge numbers of our enthusiastic states have inceptions in our adolescence. It is troublesome to be sure to tidy off this reflection of the past and perceive that those youth encounters that we disdained the most when our folks got irate, are similar ways that we are doing to our very own youngsters, rehashing what ought to have been ceased.
