Such an amazing ending 😍

I have read all three books and I will say after book 2 I was kind of worried about our MC's. But let's just say they got what both of them deserved at the end of book 3. Absolutely amazing end, 5 stars all around!

What a finish

Epic ending with a very cool plot ending. Wish it wasn’t the last of Miles and Cade but what a way to go!

excellent! such a good ending

This lives up to the standard of all Kai’s other books and then some.

I was a bit worried what this book was going to be like emotion-wise given the extreme tension and cliffhanger from the end of the last book. But it was all worth it. The plot had a good mix of detailed scenes with complex events and interconnections, while at the same time moving through the story line with good pace. A lot starts happening before you get too deep in the book and it keeps going from there. The stakes of these final chapters just keep getting bigger.

I loved the series! Its pacing was great and I loved the characters. I wish it would continue so we could see what Cade and Miles make of the new political landscape.

Miles and Cade are memorable MCs

Audiobook from Greg Tremblay was amazing.

The story was good, but I could have done a couple less hindrance scenes. I love Reece and Mia.

Angsty but amazing

Not as repeatable as Butler’s previous Wormwood Summer series, but excellent as an epic trilogy. As always with Butler’s work, characters and plot lines are well-thought-out and thoroughly developed over the series. Perfect choice of narrator too.

Emotional and Action Packed!!

This was an incredible way to end this series. The emotions conveyed in the narration conbined with the intricacy of the scene layouts is unmatched. I'm happy I read the 3 books back to back! House Castillo indeed!

very well written, story well woven

after listening to this trilogy, I thought the writing and the performance were very good. if I have a complaint which puts it down to four, the erotic scenes probably could he's a little bit of a rewrite. there are many euphemisms for genitals besides primarily using the C word.

Honest review

I absolutely HATED the first book. Just everything about it was so off-putting. One of the characters came off so whiny and unlikable, the jokes that fell flat, and even the editing didn’t seem up to snuff. But I’ve read some of the authors other work and I thought to myself: surely it can’t continue to be this bad. Then I listened to the second and third book. Omg thank god I did, I was absolutely hooked! The first book sets the whole story up and from there that’s when the story really pics up. Such amazing story telling! Very original and of course the narrator was impeccable! 5 stars all around, scared me at the beginning tho ngl. Don’t sleep on this series y’all!
