So Inspiring!

I loved this book, I'm not a triathlete but I found this incredibly inspiring. I have listened to Chap 14 & 15 several times, including while driving to my first half marathon in almost 5 years. I will listen to this book anytime I need some inspiration. She is an incredible athlete and person.

I was caught off guard by the intro by Lance Armstrong. I did read an article that she did regret that.

I have enjoyed many Ironman youtube videos since listening to this book. Who knows maybe I will give it a whirl!

Without a doubt, Chrissie is and will be reminded as one of the greatest sports women of this era!...recipe: passion, discipline, and tons of training! way to go Chrissie!

Quite a story

Happened upon this by chance, maybe like Chrissie Wellington also seemed to happen upon one of her unexpected but incredible life calling, by chance. I do add memoirs to my library including some athletes, explorers, etc. ... that have pursued a passion against odds. For me, this kindle and audio included adventure/travel ideas together with a reminder that we are capable of more than we might ever know. Chrissie Wellington has an incredible story and one that I think many of us could benefit from in our own journeys. Very good/excellent Chrissie. Thanks for sharing. With questionable knees, I might not ever be able to do an ironman triathlon, but you have reminded me to never say never. Fun to dream and explore possibilities. I've not been to Hawaii and think maybe the time for an adventure type road trip might be the 2021 Kona World Championship (if not cancelled) to see the best of the best and others. Mahalo.
