I am really enjoying the Vernetta Henderson series. She is such a smart woman, a lawyer and a loving wife. She's finally running her own business and has has accomplished a few big law suits. Its the swagger of her opponent lawyer Girly Cortez, who wins every case, Vernetta has lost 4 cases against this powerful, beautiful, sexy, and corrupt lawyer. Lots of twist and turns. I can hardly wait for the next book. I got one question, but I'll wait.

One can tell the authors Pamela Young really did her research. Its really one of the better law fiction book I've read in a long time, definitely a page turner.

not the usual page-turner that I get from Pamela Samuel. this read was definitely interesting though.

First, this girl (Pamela Samuels young) right here combined with the narrator opened my eyes to the Mystery/Thriller genre.
People dying, business documents compromised, employee/er scandal…can you say TV in a book.
What I liked most – was that the Christian lady had unshakeable faith, no matter what was thrown her way, she stayed the course.
The battle of how the lawyers worked in/outside the court room/streets and office, was definitely intriguing to say the least (is this how it is really?).
Favorite Character: I’m not sure but I always lean toward the lead character as my favorite. I have been following the Vernetta Henderson series since book one. Vernetta is my girl. She is a go getter and she does it strictly by the book. She is a winner.

Without hesitation I would definitely recommend. I would strongly suggest this book and all others in the series. The narrator R.C. Bray delivers amazingly.

Ewwww this was good.....

What did you love best about Attorney-Client Privilege?

The exploration into Islam.

Would you recommend Attorney-Client Privilege to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, but not wholeheartedly. Too much of the ho going on with both men and women. Too many of the women are over the top and mean.

What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?

Even though most of the characters are women, RC changes his voice enough so that I can tell them all apart. Vernetta is spot on.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was appalled by the pushiness of Special. If she really wants to become a detective she will need to learn some tact and patience.

Any additional comments?

Why do all the current mysteries rely on murders and deaths? This series seems to be getting more violent as it goes on. I'll try one more but unless we get a real mystery, not just find the murderer, that will be it.
As I have said in a previous review, I appreciate the insight into Black Culture but now am wondering if the representation is true or not with all the cursing and sexism.

A bit disappointed
