Gut wrenching

If you could sum up The Singer in three words, what would they be?

Loved it more the second time around but was a little lost with the addition of all the new characters .Hunter truly puts to words what it feels to have lost such a vital part of ones life.Well written, well narrated , and although I found book 2 a little dryer with the story of the Irinas, now that I've gone back to re read after completing the series, it makes a whole lot of sense.Great read, in depth characters and still my one of my favorite series.Ah the sex is more intense, I thought it was important to let you know. Not for young listeners.

Creative story-line / great character development

I love the detail and depth of the story-line in this series. The character development is also great as you feel you're getting to know the characters and going along-side them as they grow and develop as people.

Enjoyable

Each book brings you deeper into the lives of each cgaracter. The story weaves itself revealing more and more of the past, present and future.

World building at its best!

In this story Ava travels to the Irins to learn how to master her powers. She is heartbroken, yet reminds strong and works relentlessly to become a warrior. In the meantime Malachi is trying to find her, and begins to unravel the political scene around the globe. It doesn’t look promising. They meet in their dreams, but don’t understand how or what it means, yet it helps them both cope with their different struggles. This book has a ton of amazing world building and character development (particularly for several side characters). It’s very well done. There were a few times I felt frustrated and wanted things to speed up, but stick with it. It’s well worth the wait!!! This is my second time reading this series, and I can guarantee you that book three is worth a few delays in this book. It’s soo good and full of action and intrigue!!!

Zachary’s performance remains top notch!!! He really brings the characters to life!!

I would give this series 10 stars if I could. It’s been the best series I’ve listened to in a long while!
