Book Six of the Demon Accords. For 17 years Declan O'Carroll has lived quietly in the upstate Vermont town of Castlebury, waiting impatiently for a chance to get out and meet the great wide world. When an odd new girl appears in town, Declan finds out that the world might be coming to meet him. But the big question remains...who is in more danger? Declan or the world?

What made the experience of listening to Executable the most enjoyable?

Same universe, but different characters. I like the overlap and the fresh perspective that this book gives of the world, but it still feels like the other novels.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Declan was the kind of character that I can relate to. He is a total techie.

What about James Patrick Cronin’s performance did you like?

Sometimes I had to remind myself that it is a dude who is narrating the Irish girls' accents.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I got the "Marathoner" badge on this book because every few minutes game me a question that I needed answered.

Any additional comments?

It was great the second time through as well!

A great spinoff!

The author is probably moving to new protagonists having run out of interesting ways to challenge Christian and Tanya without opening the gates of hell directly. So how to continue the story without the main characters? Simple change main characters right? Well most authors will just end one protagonists arc or saga and call it good, then move on inside the same universe. Thankfully Mr. Conroe came up with a interesting method of shifting to or adding in new main characters. I don't know what they next book in the series holds as I have not yet read it..but I will. I have enjoyed this series immensely and hope the story continues for a good long while.

interesting transition.

I couldn't put it down. The epic story continues and once again it doesn't disappoint.

Each book is better than the last!

As this seri s progresses I enjoy it more and more. The world is so very detailed and parts are so familiar yet creative. Declan and Keiko are a great addition to the whole plot line

Amazing good book

Usually when an author completely changes protagonists in the middle of a series the decision is a poor choice. Not so with this book. It's a nice change of pace.

This book explores the lives of the 2 kids that were locked in those cells at the end of book 5. There's a bit of crossover in the middle of the book when Chris comes to save his goddaughter.

The writing and story are solid as always. In fact, I'd say this book is on par with the first couple of books of the series.
