Still a fan of the series!

I will say that when I started this series I didn't forsee how much it would transform! To a certain degree there is a bit of power creep issue here that exist with a series going as long as this one, but I really do enjoy all the different ways he has weaved magic + sci-fi + fantasy in this.

Overall, the thing that moves the needle for me is the dialogue and the witty comebacks that interplay with the characters.

I really enjoy the demon accord series. And this is another stellar addition to the series. It’s nice to spend some time with my favorite characters. A lot happens in this book and I’m looking forward to the next one!

I love this book.

It's hard to stop listening to this. It's engaging and I love how detailed the description of what's happening gets. This whole series is awesome.

I love this series, but...

The Demon Accords is one of my favorite series, and this is a solid addition, but... there are a few things I dislike about how the story is developing. One, I don't like how it has become more the Declan Accords, and he seemingly had become more powerful than the two main heroes of the story, so powerful that he defeats the enemy single handed, leaving me to wonder why even have the other characters in this story involved at all. There is this build up of anticipation to this great battle with this devasting enemy that never happens and is anti-climatic because Declan wipes them out with a single spell. I still enjoyed most of the book and will continue to read and follow the series.

I Love this series!

I was so anxious to get this newest novel and I couldn't wait to hear my favorite characters come to life with the excellent narration of Jame Patrick Cronin! My only complaint was that the book was too short and now I'm waiting for the next to follow. I love the way the author has weaved the story together and once again begin introducing the background characters into the forefront once again. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the fight to unravel into the story line and I was NOT disappointed. Love this series, love the narrator and if you like the Demon Accords series, this one will not disappoint.

Still going STRONG!

As with the previous books this series is just awesome. I love the action, magic, raw power and how many cool things are present all the time.
Fantasy and sci-fi freak as I am this series just gives so much. Situational humor is spot on.
As James has narrated every book it is easy to follow the story and he is doing a great job!!

Now the boring part starts as I have to wait for a new book.
I have listened books from 1 to 16 two times now and it just keeps getting better and better.

amazing series

very entertaining and conceptually interesting takes on the various powers, people, and situations they get into. Though it seems like the power limitations are slightly out of control, still incredibly satisfying read/listen.
