Great for overall knowledge

Great for overall knowledge. This will get more then one reread. I will be introducing this on our instagram page for dog owners as well.

Text Book Material

This is a very comprehensive book on dog (and child/human) behavior and psychology. It reads like a text book, but the information is very well researched and presented. I wish that I would have read it when my own dog was younger. I think he's too old now to unlearn some of the habits and bad behaviors I've allowed and promoted. Many of the concepts reminded me of various Child Development classes I previously took in college.

Very Technical

The performance was very technical and unless you understand, it would be hard to follow.

A well written book on dog training. The book discusses operant conditioning. The theories and applications are well explained.

Excellent read for trainers & owners

Absolutely loved this descriptive well written easy to understand book. Anyone needing to understand learning concepts in dogs to be better trainers or to simply have a better relationship with your own dogs should read.
