Learn to understand their signs

We unfortunately had to put down our beloved dog due to her unpredictable reactions. She bit myself and my son in the face and we knew she was a nervous dog and worked with her and even brought in a behavioral therapist for her. It got to the point though that no one could be around her when she was nervous. This book has a lot of really helpful information that I wish we knew sooner and could have helped her in her younger years. What I appreciate the most is being so up front about understanding the signs that your dog is stressed. Each dog is different so it manifests in different ways. We are all responsible to keep our pets and other people safe so a book like this is a great resource for dog owners.

Informative Training Guide

As a Mom to two stubborn dachshunds, I have read several dog training manuals. This one has been the most useful. I never thought about reading body language. I had been missing a lot of clues and not using enough positive reinforcement. Very helpful!

My dog will be 3 years old soon and so many of the training tips are still applicable. I appreciated the insight of naturally attuning to your dog’s body language and triggers. Even though my dog is well trained, she still has certain issues like barking at certain dogs or jumping up on certain men. Not Ready to Give Up Yet

I was struggling with my dog’s reactive behavior. Of course, I didn’t know that’s what it was called. But after listening to this audiobook, now I do know.

This audio gave me a greater understanding of what was going on so I could change my way of handling her. It helped me to decipher my dog's body language and get to the root cause of the problems which are past trauma and anxiety. We are working on it.
