Critic reviews

“This book is required for all my classes. The more I use this book, the more I believe that unresolved grief is the major underlying issue in most people’s lives. It is the only work of its kind that I know of that outlines the problem and provides the solution.” (Bernard McGrane, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology, Chapman University)

Helpful Toolkit • Emotionally Enlightening • Inspiring Content • Comprehensive Guidance • Practical Exercises

the book is helpful and I’m actually able now to think of some new memories that were happy times instead of sad memories that were later at the end.
I was able to listen at 1.3 speed for most of the book and then I only slowed it down to 1.0 for a couple of the instructions.
So I also realize that I’m grieving the loss of a loved one and grieving the loss of my job.
I like it but am having trouble completing the work because I do not have the visual for what to draw. Looked online helped some.
Death loss of a job etc good for everyone lol

Finally happy memories

I learned a lot and was surprised to feel inspired by listening to this book. I was grieving the death of someone close to me and bought this book as a resource. I found that the book applied more to other types of grief that sat unaddressed during my lifetime. Now I have insight on what I can do to move forward. I plan to read most of the book a second time, and to begin working on the exercises I have listened to and thought about. Thank you for writing the book. It is tremendously helpful.

Although the narrator’s voice was pleasant, I was frustrated often when he got certain words totally wrong. You see, I tend to read along in a physical copy of the book when I listen to an audio book, as it improves my retention of the material if I can see and hear it. Unfortunately, the narrator often would misread a word such as “relived” as “relieved” thereby changing The Who meaning of the sentence. Luckily I had the book so I was not confused, but someone who is going just on the audio might get the wrong idea about certain statements the authors were making.
