This was a thoroughly satisfying read. A good collection for those who like their stories on the naughty side.

This collection of stories is so good. Each of the stories had me on a roller coaster ride of emotion.

Jesus. It took a few chapters for me to warm up, but now it’s 3:30am and I have no intention of turning the book off or going to bed...

Not Worthy of Your Time

I'm not sure what the 'stellar reviews' are all about, but they're certainly not about this collection. With subpar writing, limited vocabulary, and oft-repeated set phrases throughout, this book is full of unmet expectations. You don't want that in fantasies, as the real world has enough letdowns. The ONLY author among the five that comes close to worth reading is Kelly Sanders, and even she could have benefited from a couple of rewrites. (Conner Hayden comes in as a distant second with all the rest far below.) I wonder if these authors even considered using a thesaurus or grammar help app because it appears they phoned it in when writing these stories. As far as the narrators go, they stumbled a few times and stressed the wrong parts of the dialogue, but for the most part, they performed okay.
