Loved it!

Here we have a delightful story reminiscent of a dark version of Beauty and the Beast. The characters have great depth, and very soon into the story, we learn of the personal burdens they each carry. There were times when my respect for Daisy waned, but she earned it all back at the end when she showed her true strength. Although very predictable, this is an enjoyable story that keeps the listener entertained throughout. The pacing and storyline never went stagnant, and it is for this reason, the book seemed to go as quickly as it did. The talented narrators made the listener feel the inner turmoil, love, and passion through their storytelling, which was vividly believable and, at times, beautiful. The intimate scenes were intense and almost made me blush. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a dark romance that has an actual plot. Bravo to the author and the narrators - excellent job!
