  • Animal Chiropractic Clinic Chatter | Interview with Dr. Tarek Isham
    Jan 24 2024

What is Animal Chiropractic? Is it really a thing?... Tune in to find out!

In today's episode, we will get to hear Dr. O's interview with Dr. Tarek Isham of Looking Glass Veterinary Solutions at Greater Bozeman, Montana. Dr. Tarek shares his biggest win as an animal chiropractor, and how effective it is as a natural healing modality. It is an essential tool that allows the animal's body to heal naturally.

    About our Guest:
Dr. Tarek is a graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, his post-graduate studies in animal chiropractic (A.C.E.S. Alumni) and acupuncture have given him invaluable tools to diagnose and treat the musculoskeletal and neurologic issues that are limiting the health and performance of our loved domestic species. Dr. Tarek has synthesized his traditional veterinary education and clinical experience with the integrative modalities he has studied to develop a safe and effective approach to relieve pain, optimize your animal’s health, and increase their mobility and energy. Dr. Tarek is also a working musician and in his free time loves being out in the great outdoors enjoying the company of his partner Dr. Jamie White and all the creatures, great and small. Chiropractic care is the cornerstone of our practice. Dr. Amy and Dr. O are certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. This modality helps the nervous system attempt to achieve its maximum potential allowing your animal to function to the best of its ability. They will utilize a series of manual adjustments in an attempt to restore normal motion to the joints of your animal's body. The science of chiropractic care has discovered throughout the last one hundred years that misalignment of joints (subluxation), especially the vertebrae, adversely alters nerve function from around those areas. Altered nerve impulses leaving the spinal column can adversely affect the function of organs and tissues supplied by that nerve. This altered function can lead to pain, disease, fatigue, muscle weakness, poor balance, immune suppression, etc. Animal chiropractic is the art, science, and philosophy that releases the body's inherent recuperative powers and allows the body to deal with the relationship between the nervous system and the spinal column and its associated structures. Remember, the power that made the body heals the body, it happens no other way.
