I bought this book because I had to stop drinking for an up coming surgery. I had been drinking a lot more since COVID started and was wondered if I could actually make it the two weeks.

This book helped me understand how to make it through the 14 days. I have no doubt now that I will be successful.

If you are thinking you should quit or cut down your drinking it is worth listening to.

I really enjoyed this book. I’m in a season to be fit by 50. And I came across this book to help me in that journey. We’ve been programmed to reach for the next sugary drink and you get to a point in your life where you think to yourself, is this really where I wanna be for the rest of my life feeling icky. NO! This book helped me get through a 10 day detox. I like the self-help, mindful prompts and the written worksheets. I made it through 10 days and still going sober. I’m going to read the book again because as a drinker is easy to forget how powerful a fat bomb can be.

I am on day 4 of 10 and I’ve read through the entire book and will now go back and re-read it. I have found this book very helpful. I’m still not sure if I’ll leave it at a ten day detox or stop entirely. Highly recommend this book.
