Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon, and don’t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people’s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy. Classes are totally interesting if you manage to live through them. And that Gemini star sign I mentioned? It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I’m going to beat down my classmates - which is actively encouraged, by the way.
My biggest problem is the droolworthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell. All I’ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas. Dammit, why couldn’t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts?
This is a dark, bully romance - don’t go expecting a sweet school for magic with friends around every corner. Fae fight for everything they own and Zodiac Academy is a cutthroat school for students aged 18+ where only the strongest prevail. There’s no Dumbledore here to save anyone’s ass, and Lionel Acrux will give Voldemort a run for his money in the evil dictator category. I really wanted to love this, with girls that have been through so much they are easily tricked whiny. There is no thread of strength. I had to see if this was written by a man. Nope.. it made me sad that the writers felt the need to make strong women so weak especially when it comes to sex. The story could be so amazing.

It's alright
I heard a lot about this on booktok (tiktok) so i decided to give it a read. The base storyline is really enjoyable, but the romancing of the horrible bullying and the near death is really off putting. I'm debating about getting the second book.

Really good
Not enough smut tho...hoping that picks up in book 2. This story had me hooked from the first page! The men in these bully romance novels are the worst. I have to keep reading so I can ensure they all get what they deserve.

Fantastic Start
Used audible for my reread and it was fantastic! I do think this one is the weakest of the series, but this one is at a 3.5 and it only goes up from there.
the Bordeauxs do fantastic. This one only has The Twins POV, but Jake does the guys in the rest of the books. I love that I can tell who's chapter it is just by the way Bridget reads. I live when narrators give characters different "voices." Having Geraldine as a Southern Belle type was hilarious!

Captivating & Intriguing
I was captivated by this story and understand why so many readers love it! I loved it! However I could not give this book a full ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because of the bullying… There was MERCILESS bullying towards the Vega twins and it made it difficult for me to get through certain parts of this book. Besides the bullying, I loved the world and the magic that filled these pages! I am looking forward to reading the following books, I do hope the bullying becomes less and less. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me!
