Publisher's summary

On a trip to reignite the spark in her marriage, Alaina Grace’s upgraded first-class ticket places her far from her husband and next to the notorious Jack Volmer, a former teen actor who’d previously hung on posters in her childhood bedroom. When an unusual storm forces their plane out of the sky, her ticket will save her life and force her to question everything.

Ripped from the comforts of her world and injured, Alaina finds herself on a raft in the ocean, completely separated from her husband among eleven strangers.

Seeking comfort in the presence of the single familiar face, Alaina must choose between her past and her present; between two loves in two contrasting worlds, and must let go of one in order to keep the other.

Arriving on an island in the middle of the Pacific, strangers become family as they navigate unfamiliar terrain to uncover hidden mysteries, endless adventure, and love where they least expected to find it.

I can’t wait to see what happens with the other stories in this series. Very interesting concept.

Beautiful!!

This story is so beautifully written and the narration is just as amazing. Great story and wonderful characters. I have listened to it twice while waiting for book 2 to come out on Audible. A great series indeed!

Kept me intrigued

I loved this story line and will be starting the next book in the series tomorrow. The performance was awesome! She made the characters all come to life! This is unlike anything I've read before, and I'm enjoying it immensely!

Wow!

super glad I happened across these books! Alaina is a bit irritating to me, I think it's her immaturity that does it. other than that, this first book was great and can I just say..... WHAT THE ACTUAL FU(K with the ending?! Epic Cliffhanger much?! Just glad the other books are already out or I would totally have to scream 😊😁

Loved it!

I absolutely loved this book! Of the many Audible books I've listened to, this one rates in the top. I was hooked from the moment the main character and her husband stepped on the plane in the very beginning. The interaction between two main characters, Alaina and Jack, from their first meeting, then followed by catastrophe, and how their relationship progressed was exquisite. It was made all the more understandable when compared with Alaina's relationship with her husband, Chris.

I was completely enthralled by the description of the plane trip; this took some real writing chops by Ms. Dunn. From there, the characters grew more and more real as the story unfolded. The humor, eccentricities and down home common sense of other characters contributed to their group bonds. While the book ends on a cliffhanger (it's a series, after all), luckily book two is already out.

One last thought . . . IMO, the title "More of Us To the West" doesn't do any justice to the great appeal of this book, although it is strangely appropriate to those of us who have read the book and understand its meaning.

This is an excellent story. Full of adventure, relationships, survival. Can't wait for book 2.

A great story that doesn’t need the sex scenes

This is so well written!
My only complaint is the sex scenes that are detailed. I don’t need to hear the details of someone having sex. I have enough imagination that I don’t need it spelled out. This is a great story but don’t feel I can encourage friends to buy it because of the sex scenes.

This was very interesting from start to finish.A plane crash, surviving on an island, the whole works.
However it ends in a cliffhanger...I hate that..
