I didn't go to Harvard to babysit an oversized toddler who can't control his temper, and I'm sure as hell not giving into his endless pickup lines and bad boy wiles. I'm a professional. I don't fall for guys like Ryder, even if he is a hundred kinds of hot - sinful, seductive, and oh so gorgeous. But the more I get to know him, the more I wouldn't mind a taste, just a teaser of what it's like to actually live.

One "O" - one back-breaking, headboard-shaking climax is all I want, just to know it's not a myth. I have no doubt Ryder can deliver, but the secret I'm guarding could destroy both our careers, nothing but disaster incarnate to follow. So why the hell am I hungering for his touch, ready to throw caution to the wind and whip my panties off?

One thing's for sure, sports fans. Things are about to get crazy.

Entertaining

I liked the story. Glad they didn't make the FMC insecure like sports romances tend to do. I always love Alex Kydd he has the best voice! The FMC voice was hard to take though. I got sick of her whispering like she was trying not to wake a baby. it was really annoying.

Football and Feelings ❤️🩺🏈💙

I like unconventional romances. Amber and Ryder meet in a way that would be hard to imagine leading to a love story. But helping to tame the rage in him is what she’s tasked to do.

Football is his life and his lifeline, until Amber shows him another way. They have a great connection which eventually leads to an HEA. Looking forward to his teammates’ stories.

The narrators do a nice job.

Not one of my favorites. Their relationship lacks depth and growth. I liked the narrators but prefer a duet read.

Sofia is so monotone she is just boring. When she's reading the actual narration part of the story I nearly fall asleep. For the other voices she does good. Maybe narration gets better over the other 3 books.

Rapid love story with some football thrown in

I’m actually in the 4th book of this series but thought it best to write this review under the 1st book to make other readers aware of what they’re getting into.
I absolutely adore, Alex Kydd and his narration! I hated giving the performance a low star rating because he is AWESOME! The books would have been better if he did all of the narration!
It was my first time listening to Sofia and hopefully my last. Not only does she whisper, but she speaks in a monotone and delivers each sentence almost in a nursery, rhyme fashion! It really takes away from the story and makes it hard to listen to.
So, if you can get past that, the stories are fun and just ok.
