Your Soul Will Appreciate This Book

This was a very quick listen but not one that I wanted to rush. Some books I like to whip through at 1.25x speed to soak in all the goodies, check it off my listen, and move on to the next. There are times, however, when a book makes me want to slow down and be pampered. The author’s words and narrator’s voice made me feel like I was lying on a tropical beach soaking in rays of sun. This book was a hug, a friend, a whisper, a pat on the back, and a lighthouse that reminds me of who I am and that maybe it’s not too late for the hidden desires of my heart. The narrator’s voice, pronunciation, and pauses are absolutely captivating, right on time, and sincere. It feels as those the author’s words touched the narrator’s heart as well. Get this book. Listen fast or slow. Take time to soak in the truth, cry a little, and start it again when you’re ready.

It was beautiful

I loved everything about this book. This book was beautifully written, and it was the gentle reminder that I believe everyone needs at some point in their life.

Very Inspiring

I must say that the book is very inspiring but it helps to listen to it in chapters and not to much at once because listening to it makes it sound repetitive. I do believe if I had a physical copy that the repetition wouldn’t have bothered me as much. But overall it was definitely a gentle reminder!
