Lenny Primrose is a puppet; a temptress sent to make my life bloody miserable.

Adored by the public and used for her father’s benefit. Every man wants her, and every woman wants to be her. She’s good for my reputation. That’s the only reason I agree to the little devil’s proposal.

I’m game. Willing to play pretend to get what I want. Until what I want is her.

Now, there are no rules. I’ll wage a war against the world just to keep her. Even the deadliest men have their vices, and she happens to be mine.

Oaths and Omissions is a full-length, standalone dark contemporary romance inspired by the Helen of Troy myth. It is not fantasy or a literal retelling.

RUPERT CHANNING - Oh this man's voice!! 10/10 Swoon! I will be looking on audible for books he's narrated . You fall into his story and enjoy the ride.

CHARLOTTE CLAREMONT - I really enjoy this narrator. She has great pace, and she gives a lot of good emotion with her narrations.

I liked this book, I gave it 3 stars because I felt like it had a lot of good things that could have been developed on. I felt like somethings were slow paced and drug out, while some of the character development could have been expanded on, and really make us fall in love with Lenny and Jonas.
I ended up seeing the good in this but the first 25% it was a struggle to get into it, but in this books defense I really enjoyed the book before this and it had an uphill battle to fight.
This book had a good storyline. There were so many things that could have went further and I guess that sounds like a negative, but this author has the base work to what readers want and I'm here for that to develop!

The tropes in this book are: age gap, force proximity, and fake relationship. This is the third installment of the monsters and muses series based off the myth Helen of Troy. Throughout the book you see Jonah and Lennie embrace their Darkside as they acknowledge a connection in one another. I loved seeing characters from monster and muses book 1.

Absolutely amazing. This story might be my favorite so far of the ones I read. It kept me so immersed since the first line and the narrators did an amazing job with the characters. Definitely 5 stars!

This book is filled with Trauma and eventually some revenge(even if it’s not from the one that trauma was inflicted upon)
And come on the main man says I love you first and has an accent! Enough said! And the spice was spicy as always 🖤

3.5 Stars!

I really enjoyed this book. Lenny and Jonas’s fake relationship to real romance was a roller coaster.

My only complaint was that it took till the last few chapters of the book to get to the main pivotal moment, only because I wish the epilogue was longer. I need more sappy and in love Lenny and Jonas!
