I’m going to start by saying that I absolutely love both the author and the narrator of this series. However, the last book was just okay for me. Yes Pip and her gang of friends and her Vampire Prince defeat the Demon God and there’s a lot of steamy, sexy times. I think it got a bit weird and all the important people in Pip’s life were all fine and dandy at the end of a huge battle. Hmm maybe I expected something different but it was still an adventure, still exciting and enjoyable because of Meg and Victoria.

Book #3 in the Monsters After Dark series. I love everything PNR and this book completely blew me away. Awesome narration, storyline, characters and chemistry. Looking forward to more books by Meg.

Victoria Mei is a goddess. I would listen to her vampire voice all day. So worth it.

This series was my first by the author so I don’t really have anything to compare it to her other work. The story itself was excellent and well written, the characters interesting and memorable. The voice actor is pretty good too. Very spicy and a lot of it. What made me almost DNR this was the FMC. Her maturity drove me bonkers in the first book but I pushed through because I enjoyed the story. By the end of the series, I still considered her annoying but not as much as she originally was. There is a reason for the way Pip is, so if you are considering DNR’ing this series because of her maturity…Don’t. She will still be annoying but once you find out why she says things the way she does it will be an “OH WOW!” Moment that explains a lot. Push through it, Meg did an amazing job writing her character and the growth that occurs over the series. Well done author!
