Absolute True Love

the performance, the writing it's all just wonderful. I personally feel Keri Lake is a genius. she is a phenomenal writer. very few authors are capable of creating such intrinsic and intriguing works. I am so sad for having finished this duology. but I will await anathema and move onto salt and bone. here's to nightshade, and Keri Lake -- the BEST gothic romantasy author.

Liked thus duology, but...

The storyline and the narrators were great, but these books didn't have to be so long. The MFC made way too many bad choices that only seemed to draw the story out. Enjoyed it, but it took way too long to tell the story.

Outstanding

As the second book, it was fantastic. Lots of twists and turns and the right amount of spice 🌶️. It was a great follow up to Nocticadia.

Had some holes but worth 5 stars.

I loved the story, the character development, and the unexpected twists. That said, a lot of elements were introduced that didn’t quite sync with the first book, leaving some holes unaddressed. Surprisingly, that didn’t ruin the experience—the new direction was stronger and ultimately more enjoyable.
