Great story and written well. I love the characters especially Hale and Elsa a great couple.

Another great KA story

My favorite in the River Rain series I think - but I’ll likely want to reread the others to be sure!

I absolutely love the evolution of the characters and I can't wait to read / listen to the next book!

Good story…

A good use of credit, I enjoyed the plot and story. I was well told, at times though, it felt over voiced. I also did not enjoy hearing JC name be used as a curse word. That made me cringe.

Nice to get Hale’s story

I liked this one. It had moments of the “old” KA. Yes, there’s still a bit of her recent penchant for preachy wokeness and the seemingly obligatory misuse of the word INFERRED where the correct word is IMPLIED (shame on her editors who let this embarrassing grammatical error get by them at least once in almost every book this NYT Bestselling Author has ever written).

However, when you get past that, you have a classic KA novel. The characters are layered and interesting, and you care about them and want to see them overcome their obstacles and find happiness. I liked this one a little better than the ones prior. Again, I think that’s because her “voice” reminds me more of what it was like in the Colorado Mountain, ‘Burg and Rock Chick days which is when I began to love her books.
