Great read/ listen

Extraordinary Series

Now I can finally sleep. I listened to the entire series, all ten books, in four days. I just finished the last box set at 6 AM. The series is so good that I hated to see it end. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series. The interaction among the main characters was fascinating to watch unfold. This would make a phenomenal series on Netflix. Ms. Ash has a gift for unique story telling. The voice actors were perfect.

Went though all the books and loved each one. The story was easy to follow, and olive loved the characters. Shame it's all finished. Well worth a read.

Magnificent series.

This review is of all the books (1-10). Typically don’t rate and review unless I feel strongly about it. Many why choose novels are excellent, but lack that something that drags you into the story. I think in order to have books that do that, the love story has to be epic and all-consuming. You find that more often on regular MF romance novels. It’s difficult to accomplish in why chose novels.

But…this series accomplished that in an epic way. The author brought me into the story (showed as opposed to tell). The emotional response to several situations was very potent. Yes this series has lots of steam, but there are long stretches without, that is how it should be during those time. You don’t miss it, because the story is happening in the world and not at home. Mari’s relationship to Reacher and Shadow was beautifully epic. It was lacking with gunner and juando. It wasn’t obvious during the series, just later after reflecting on it. This is definitely worth credit, or paying for the whisper sync discount.
