Interesting story but slow

The story eventually developed but seemed to move unnecessarily slow. Having to waited three chapters to find out who got killed was ridiculous. And don’t ask about the STUPID POLITICAL BULLSHIT. PURE NONSENSE.

When can i read book 5

So this book series is fun .... sad, and although there are politics built in they are from different points of view. Who could writs a book about this subject and not have some politics in it. My only problem is when i finished book 4 there was no book 5. I loved that the main character was not some 30-40 year old hero with a ton of military back ground. I loved that they were all flawed! If this did happen i could see it play out much like this. Cant wait to see wat these folks get up to next!

Not a bad series. Nicely narrated.

I almost wrote the wrong review for this book. So I hope my edit makes it. These books were okay, seemed a bit rushed at the end. Overall, I enjoyed the real world references to actual political entities, it made it feel real.

The SHTF Series 1-4

It started out good but towards the end it was awful. Could have been if it was finished.

A good listen

This series is a bit pessimistic about resilience of like most prepper fiction. It is more realistic than most though, making it a better listen. That said, it does an excellent job at showing the need for robust infrastructure and effective federal agencies. A good argument against the idea that you will be better off as a prepper without federal agencies like FEMA being prepared for all contingencies.
