My sin? Falling in love.
People say "Go to Hell" like it's a place. It is. But it's also a state of existence, one with which I'm intimately familiar.
What else would you expect for one of the damned, though? You know, those of us who’ve been cast out. The Fallen Ones.
We’re all doomed to an existence of absolute suffering for daring to piss off the Big Guy.
So what’s my hell?
Knowing what true love is, and being forced to spend the rest of my immortal life without it.
My Soul to Take is a stand-alone forbidden-love-meets-fated-mates romance that explores how far a fallen angel will go for a second chance to save her soulmate.

Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding narrate this book in duet and elevate the story with their narration. They were able to capture Maisie and Sawyer’s pain and anguish through their voices. Both narrators gave wonderful performances.
Emotional fantasy romance!

The epilogue was pure meet-cute, new relationship, soul mates reunited magic. Meg tugged at my heart strings and made me laugh out loud at times with this novella that played out like a movie in my mind as I listened.
Stella Hunter gave Maisie so many facets of vulnerability, sass, strength and conviction with her performance. J. F. Harding was irreverently charming and sweet as all the incarnations of Sawyer. I love listening to these narrators perform together!

Before I even started this book, I kept seeing things like "my heart" and "I am not okay" or my personal favorite "why won't the tears stop" so of course I jumped right in the first chance I had.
And Meg Anne, I am seriously not okay!! Why did you have to do that to me? My heart was breaking from start to finish and while the good parts were oh so delicious you knew the inevitable was coming.
Don't misunderstand, this book was incredible. Meg has a way with her stories that have you captivated before you even realize it and My Soul to Take was the same way. I knew it wasn't going to be what I thought it was and while I wanted to spill all the juicy bits I won't. This book deserves to be devoured with as little information as possible.
J.F. Harding brought Sawyer's character to life and while I have heard him do one hell of a cowboy and even a remarkable stutter, I had never heard him do an accent the way he did in this book. That man is really gaining traction and if you haven't listened to his narrations, you are sorely missing out. And then the queen herself, Stella Hunter. She did incredible as usual. When Maize's heart was breaking so was Stella's and that really is the test of a good narrator in my opinion. If you can't hear the emotions in their voice, then something is missing.
Truly, this might be one of my favorite Meg Anne standalones that I have read, and I don't' want to let the characters go. From the first chapter to that breathtaking ending, she had her claws into me. I truly hope we get more in this world that Meg Anne has started to build.
Heartfelt and beautiful!!

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Stella Hunter and J.F. Harding were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice a voice that was fitting and was believable in the roles they played. Hunter nailed the role of Maisie, fully embodying her personality, internal struggle, strength, and determination. Her accent from Maisie's past life was also incredible. Harding was just as amazing as Sawyer, grasping the struggle with his illness and his determination to free of it at any cost. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance, capturing their characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These wonderfully talented voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.
