Hilariously Action-Packed

I love the narrator. He perfectly embodied every character in the book and put so much life into them. We have to talk about Owen, though. Perfect comic relief and added so much to the story. I love the banter and his subtle nods at knowing it is a book. I was chuckling and gripped to the whole story... and he was right, losing Rooster would be a tragedy... a throw your book (or Kindle or phone) across the room type tragedy. Thank you for saving him, Owen. Fantastic. I've recommended to by husband to listen to and all my guy friends.

Rise of the Giants
Not sure what I expected but this was incredible! A soldier, Dean, has visions and the doctor comes to listen to his new visions in the war torn areas during battle. The doc knows Dean is the new Deacon that is prophesied. Dean dies in battle with a fallen angel but Dean doesn't stay dead. He is given powers of the Deacon. He will be a soldier for god, someone to keep the balance.
There is lots of great characters, wonderful battles, giants, besties, angels, Nephilim, and I love the many shape shifting capabilities!

Wrath of the Fallen
This is book #2 in the series. The war between good and bad, heaven and hell, and the twists and turns are many! There's traitors and those comprised, it is hard to know who to trust.
Tons of action, interesting new characters, friendly old characters, time travel, exciting situations, great plot, and even more humor and wit than book one! Funny dialogue is scattered throughout!

Rage of the Heavens
This is the 3rd book in the series and the most twisted and exciting one so far! Everything comes to a head, plans and traitors are revealed. Adrenaline oozes off the pages! Terrific! Witty! Action packed, great fantasy, love the characters, and plot! Enjoyed it from start to finish! The books just get better!

The narration is fabulous throughout the book! There is just the one narrator but dozens of voices and all done so well!

I think this is one of the best series that I have ever listened to. I love the way the author draws you in with suspense, but also uses real world things and normal people. I think the storyline from book one to book 3 matches together wonderfully. They kept you guessing the whole time.

Very d&d/gaming rhythmish. But fun, witty borrowing from everywhere and interesting storyline that progressed very well and got better and better in writing.
Character development grew, and the narrator did a good job at creating voices for each character.
Safe to read if you’re driving in your car.lol.

Pleasant Surprise

Saw this series pop up on instagram numerous times. Decided to give it a shot and I really liked it. Good story, good characters, & when the author injected humor, it wasn’t cheesy stupid humor. But the audiobook, you’ll like it
