Arrr What a Mighty Good Yarn it tis.

This was a great take on LitRpg. I enjoyed all the characters as well as how the Author slowly brought in the MCs past that shaped him in this world. There is a big nod to LoTR Return of the King at the end.

Great way to spend a credit and 34+ hours!

Very enjoyable listen. I'll admit that I didn't know what to expect out of this book, but the blurb caught me. I'm glad it did. Caleb is no goodie 2 shoes Paladin like do-gooder. The man has a past. It might be a little foggy, but he definitely has a checkered past. It's a good thing too since he has some bad guys to deal with. Shady is exactly how you come after bad guys. You sneak up and catch them off guard, you do the unexpected and you don't play by their playbook. There is a lot of action, adventure, travel and a decent amount of spice.

Theodore Zephyr and Julia Walker were perfect voices for this book, A great way to spend a few days of listening expecially on a single credit.

Engaging and a good overall story. Would be nice to see a story written from the other side of the story.

It’s good

The narration, especially the woman’s voice at first, is strangely robotic but she and the male voice get better as time goes along. The story is nice if you’re a naval novel fan, Hornblower references etc are in there. Cool series, would recommend to any manjack who’s trimmed a sail before.

well written! has a touch of old pirates modern drug smugglers all in the same character. action, love, fantasy, sci-fi, home, loyalty, life, death, treachery, and even philosophy and much much more. dynamically performed to perfection!
