A startlingly powerful new weapon. An enemy more capable than previously known. Allies in disarray.

Six months have passed since Kyle Wimberly and his team helped turn the Dominion back in Harza space. Many of Earth's nations have entered into collaboration agreements with the Iknosan and Harza. While working on an intelligence-gathering mission with alien allies, Kyle and his life partner, Alexandra Reyes, make a discovery that has the potential to change the course of the war.

As word of Kyle's activities spread and his popularity soars, the administration retaliates. The politically motivated investigations that follow force him to choose: fall in line or risk everything he has and everyone he loves to protect the earth.

Buckle your seatbelts and get ready for the ride in the exciting next installment in the Echoes of Extinction series.

Loved the differences and simularities of Earth and the woman's planet. listening gives the stoty so much depth. Kai now has two daughters, looking forward to what's going to happen with that.

It’s either brilliant writing or the worst but Kyle comes across as a jerk who makes very selfish unilateral decisions and convinces himself it’s for the good of mankind. I struggled to stay with this book until the end.

Never despised a protagonist more!

Characters development is a touch better in book 2, but I couldn’t stomach descriptions of the relationships that the author describes in it. So many female characters (yay!) but the fawning they display (ugh) and even explanations for their behavior were trite and fantastical. I’d rather there were fewer female characters and less discussion of intimate relationships. Even better, add more dimension to all characters.

Interesting sequel but I’m done

I typically don’t leave reviews, but I am making a special review for this story. The first book was okay brought you into a story of first contact combat, and for some reason through the second story it turned into a sex driven story, you really can’t go more than a chapter of him describing a female or having sex with multiple women. The 3rd story turns in an even more sexual story that makes listening to it very uncomfortable. At some point his daughter starts to have a psychic connection with her parents and wants them to have more sex and even bring in an AI Sex toy because she (his daughter) enjoyed the same endorphins her mother does. I mean seriously that was Author thinking, like a sexual deviant slash pedophile dream, I had to turn it off. I want my credit back. STAY AWAY FROM BOOK 3 IT GETS WORSE!!!

This is a sexually disturbing story stay away
