Fantastic (Back)Storytelling.

Tom did a great job adding his own touches to the characters of the series we already know and love. Listening to this soon after The Messenger series shows just how far Maggert and Chaney have come. Well done. Can’t wait for more of this series.

structuring of the backstory

definitely like the humor in this book definitely adds a huge of detail and nuance to the story of the grandfather and to the relationship of the characters before the initial series

Great New Series

If you are a Backyard Starship fan then this new series is for you. Fast paced, lots of action and filled with interesting background info on the Tudor family and several key characters. Betty and Perry are introduced with great satisfaction for fans. I am ready to begin Book 2.

Good characters

Liked the many characters though how some seriously mimed Earth tropes needed explanation. Overall, great fun.

Loved getting the backstory of Backyard Starship….though was jostled by continuity changes

Really enjoyed the story and getting to see some of the defining players much earlier in their careers. Was jostled on the continuity change up though regarding the ship’s name.
