From master of the mystery genre and bestselling author Adam Mitzner comes The Brothers Kenney, a murder mystery that pushes one family to the breaking point.

Former track star Sean Kenney used to be on top of the world, but that was a very long time ago. Now he’s been estranged from his loved ones for the past two years—until the unthinkable calls him home.

While struggling to make sense of the devastating death that has shaken the Kenney family to its core, Sean grasps at the opportunity to seek forgiveness for his past mistakes—from his family and himself—while clinging to the belief that if he can discover what really happened that day, he might somehow be redeemed.

Both a family saga and a thrilling mystery, The Brothers Kenney searches for forgiveness and the meaning of home as assiduously as it does the identity of a killer.

Long boring issues. This book was drawn out to teach 7-+ hours. Too much sports content.

Long boring issues

The emphasis on character development differentiates this work from the average domestic thriller, where a clueless protagonist makes lots of bad decisions. The storyline here takes place in a world populated by complex adults. I only wish that the ending felt less abrupt. Overall rating: 4.25 stars

It was repetitive and boring most of the time. The characters were not likable or interesting.

I think I’m done giving him another chance. This book was garbage. The guy’s brother’s death is ruled a suicide and he returns home from disgrace to basically go around and accuse every family member of murder, without any real proof other than one preposterous hunch after another. There’s no investigation. There are no plot twists (except for one very stupid one at the end). It must have taken the author three hours to write this. Shocked that Blackstone published this. I usually can trust them.
