Bend the knee. Take the Oath. Live forever.

South Boston, 1970.

When Leigh Austen's husband died in the jungles of Vietnam, her world collapsed. But two Halloweens later, she's ready to begin living her life again—starting by making amends with a longtime friend.

Charming Dublin expat Michael Kelly runs the most popular Irish pub in Southie. But no crowd of high-tipping revelers has ever been as welcome a sight as that of Leigh walking through his door. Hiding his heart—and his bloodlust—from her was difficult enough when she was married. Now? It's impossible.

But mysterious deaths have the whole city spooked, and when Leigh is the next to be attacked, Michael's act of protection reveals his secret: He's the leader of a clandestine order of vampires, the Morrigan Brotherhood.

As Leigh steps into the world of the supernatural, she is forced to confront issues of power and politics that threaten to disrupt more than the vampire order...and has Michael always been this hot?

Celtic mythology intertwines with the rich history of Irish immigration in this suspenseful paranormal romance, set against the backdrop of The Troubles.

My Hot Best Friend Is an Irish Vampire is a dual POV, slow-burn, friends-to-lovers vampire romance with no cheating and an HEA. Enjoy as a stand-alone, or as the first volume in the Morrigan Brotherhood series.

This was the first book in the series, and it’s been sitting on my TBR pile so long it was practically growing roots. I’m kicking myself for waiting because it turned out to be such a fun, enjoyable listen. Leigh is the perfect mix of strong, smart, and totally likable, and Michael—well, let’s just say he’s the kind of guy who makes you forget to hit pause. Their love story is sweet, funny, and just the right amount of swoony.

The narration was great and really brought the story to life. It doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, but there’s definitely more to come—and yep, I’m already queuing up the next one!

Love, Loss, and a Hot Vampire

This was such a fun and interesting read. I feel like the title undersells it a little, because although the hot best friend is definitely an Irish vampire, this story is much more than surface deep. It's a great dive into history and Irish folklore twisted up with vampires, ravens, and the Morrigan. I loved listening to the romance bloom, and getting a glimpse into the vampire politics. The narration was spectacular! 10/10 for both Andria Mae and Jake McAskill.

A great new take on vampires

The duet narration for this was absolutely fantastic and I thought the idea of Irish vampire romance was a fun idea. The story took itself way more seriously though than I expected from the title, and I didn’t love the dynamic between the two main characters. But if you’re looking for an interesting paranormal premise with great narration, this may be for you!
