While foreign forces occupy America, pockets of ordinary citizens gather together to resist.

Can a ragtag group of determined people survive the takeover?

Logan Cahill, Skylar Madigan, and Harper Whitaker are part of a growing underground effort to reclaim occupied America. But when Logan is alerted to a cryptic message in the world’s largest server room, the doomsday clock begins.

Logan knows the enemies, the weapons, and the time of the country's death sentence, right down to the minute. If he and his newfound friends want to survive the apocalypse, they’ll have to bug out fast and head north to the southern Oregon town of Five Falls.

With no power, no heat, and a total grid collapse, tough times keep getting tougher. But when America is struck with an EMP, this small group of survivors will be forced out of the frying pan and into the fire. Only there can they fight for their homes, their families, their community, and their right to be free from the restraints of an oppressive world force.

But will they all survive? Will America survive? Could you survive?

This intense new tale of strength, survival, and patriotism puts ordinary citizens and preppers on the front line of a domestic conflict that was never supposed to happen, one that will either unify the country or break her for good.

*Contains scenes of violence and adult content consistent with a full-scale societal collapse, foreign occupation, and a post-apocalyptic nightmare.

Too much language and sex, story would be better without the details mentioned above thanks

The underlying story is good; however, I struggled to finish this series due to the unnecessarily vile and disturbing details weaved throughout. There were so many areas were a little less would have made the story more....

Just a tad too much.

I'm only 6 hrs in and I dont think i can do anymore. It's a lot of fighting and the main guy yearning to have sex with all the women. Very little substance to the story. I couldn't even tell you what the story is about other than fighting and wanting to screw.

I really wanted to like this series, I really did but the main characters make stupid idiotic decisions time & time again, getting people killed. Oh and when they are about to die along comes someone that wasn’t anywhere around all of a sudden show up to save their lives. 🙄
The characters also change their entire personalities the war hero turns to sort of a pacifist, the computer guy’s mysteriously turns into a war monger. Skyler gets her 90% of her town slaughtered for no reason in a battle they knew they couldn’t win but yet she is determined to get “payback” just because she’s “blood crazy”. She regrets in and then once again in the next book she does it again instead of sticking with the plan she and Logan run solo into a battlefield… kamikaze style oh and btw they conveniently find the commander of the SSA army on the battlefield and manage to slaughter his entire detail. 🙄
People that have NO war experience are all of a sudden better than war criminals? Yeah right this series is predictable as the day is long. This is the second series by Ryan Schow & probably will be the last one. As they are so predictable and the main characters make senseless decisions that get their family & friends slaughter. So if you like a book that’s 100% predictable then give it a listen but in reality pass it by as it’s just not worth the credits.

This has been a wonderful series. The characters are easy to get attached to. The horror of war on American soil is hard to imagine but this story brings it front and center. We need to listen and act.
