Aggie Malone is a dedicated young cop who has spent her entire life just looking for a place to call home. She never thought she'd find it in a quaint Florida village called Dogleg Island, where almost nothing ever happens. Deputy Ryan Grady is an easygoing playboy who carries a surf board in the trunk of his patrol car and lives in the same rambling beach cottage his grandfather built 70 years ago. He grew up on Dogleg Island and can't imagine ever living anywhere else. It's always been the most peaceful place he has ever known.

It’s tough working nights with the NYPD. The crime rate is high, the hours are terrible, and forget about a personal life. So, when Officer O’Reilly and her K-9 Rolf switch over to the day shift, things look up. She’s even able to find time for a new boyfriend. But when the theft of a priceless painting from the Queens Museum leaves a fellow police officer dead, Erin and her four-legged partner find themselves dealing with dangerous criminals, sleazy art dealers, and obstructive detectives in a race to capture the killers...and just maybe bring closure to a 75-year-old crime.

Story
Heath "Ares" Sterling thought he'd never see Hailey again. But now that fate—and Iniquus Logistics—has brought them together again, he'll do whatever it takes to earn a second chance with the one who got away. If only they were meeting under less deadly circumstances . . . Hailey Stapleton hates the idea of being a damsel in distress. But when her latest humanitarian efforts land her in a warzone, she needs help fast. It shouldn't surprise her that Ares races to her rescue—or that she's as attracted to him as ever. Too bad their timing couldn't be worse.

It should have been a routine investigation. Instead, DEA K-9 agent Adam "Deck" Decker watches in horror as one Denver hospital seems to be ground zero for overdoses of a new drug. Now Deck can only hope a certain ER doctor will help him and his canine partner track down the source. Dr. Tori Sampson has her reasons for not trusting federal agents, especially ones working for the DEA. But the rash of overdoses—including a heartbreaking case involving a teen—is alarmingly high. And the new opioid is not only extremely dangerous, it defies all the usual medical treatments.

Jerry quickly discovers The Villages' geriatric community to be a lively cast of eccentric characters, both living and dead, all of which look upon him as their portal to contact loved ones on the other side.
Will Jerry be able to find a peaceful solution to keep his father on speaking terms with his neighbors while trying to navigate his own inner turmoil?
Will Gunter be able to resist showing himself to a town full of tenacious seniors determined to get a glimpse of the ghostly K-9?

These books are so suspenseful not scary
This whole story has me sitting on the edge of my chair, waiting for what’s going to happen can’t wait for the next book at the end of each book very witty humor along with the suspense. I am enjoying these books immensely.
