Love love love!!!

I can’t believe Pip was first introduced to Lily’s fandom as a side character in her newsletter offering and grabbed my heart so much from the start (and everyone else’s) to the point he got himself his own book and HEA! He is such a softie wrapped up in barbed wire and a sharp tongue because he has had to be considering his back story regarding his parents and terrible ex-boyfriends. Olivier was the perfect complement to him. He loves to have fun but is also terribly protective of him and refuses to let Pip denigrate himself.

I adored the cameos involving Jonas, Dean and the rest of the wonderful men at the agency who are friends to both men. The addition of Ezra as a new character drew me in as well and I can’t wait to see more of him. I also loved that Xavier also made another appearance in this book and we learn a little more about his past. I have a feeling his story is going to be crazy interesting.

Lily Morton never disappoints and this is right up there too. Happily anticipating more.

fancy & funny

I love all books by Lily Morton and they are better and better all the time. This one is so so good...sunny, funny, full of feels and steam 😍 and the narration by Joel Leslie is spot on, with all the accents and personalities expressed so so well 🤩

Another masterpiece by the amazing Lily Morton! I love this book so much and Joel Leslie is a phenomenal wizard with his voice and accents! Absolutely wonderful!

Sweet and spicy story!

French Fancy was my first book by Lily Morton and it definitely won’t be my last!  I had the pleasure of listening to it (narrated by Joel Leslie) and found myself absolutely enamored with Pip and Olivier.  After coming down with scarlet fever and then developing pneumonia, Pip Simmonds is sent to the South of France by his boss (Olivier’s brother) in order to recover.  While there, Pip meets Olivier and a friendship begins to blossom.  Pip is what some might consider a lot, but I loved his outspoken banter and lively personality.  It was such a foil to Olivier’s more serious nature.  I found myself laughing out loud often and falling in love with the pair.  I highly recommend this story if you want a cozy, sweet and funny read!

this was such a great listen this book made me smile and cry and laugh so loud my husband looked at me funny this is a must get book and like always the narrator was fantastic
