She's the quintessential sunshine girl. He's the lovable class clown. But storm clouds are rolling in, and this Tommen boy is about to get serious.
Tommen's cheekiest lad, Gerard 'Gibsie' Gibson, has always been a comedian, but most people don't see what lurks beneath the surface. He is haunted by events of the past and he uses humor to cope, hiding his true self from the world.
Claire Biggs, the epitome of sunshine, has always loved Gibsie, her brother's friend and her favorite neighbor. She has always seen a side to him that no one else seems to notice. She becomes determined to tame her wild-at-heart childhood best friend.
When lines are crossed, it becomes unclear whether Gibsie and Claire's friendship will survive. Will it blossom into something more, or will they lose themselves in the wild?

Wow! I don’t know why I waited so long to start Taming 7. I should have read it back when I read the others. It definitely didn’t disappoint. Clare and Gibbs were adorable. I think they could be my favorite couple with Johnny and Shannon. I loved how strong their friendship was since they were kids. The love they have for each other is unbreakable. Seeing what Gibbs went through broke my heart and I loved how protective Clare was. I also loved how all the other characters were incorporated into the book, especially Shannon and Clare’s relationship. Can’t wait to see what happens next in the Boys of Tommon Series.

I did have high expectations for this book and I was a bit disappointed… In comparison to the rest of the series this book feels incredibly rushed and not evolved enough. The writing is sloppy, repetitive and has so many inconsistencies. And for most of the book it felt like some of the side characters from the first books should stay side characters like Gibsie and Claire, because for most of the book I was bored. As this is already shorter than Joey and Shannon’s books, it felt like the story didn’t get as much love as the other books in the series.
Although I expected what happened in the last 70 pages, my heart still is so heavy with all the things that happened. I just wish the ending wouldn't have been rushed. It left me a little unsatisfied.
On another happy note. I LOVED SEEING THE LYNCH’S THRIVE. They were such a highlight to this book. Daddy Joey and Mommy Aoife, Johnny and Shannon as well as the rest of the siblings. I really miss all of them! I desperately want more books (or at least a novella or two) about them...
All in all, this book was a bit chaotic, but I love Gibsie & Claire, this is the only thing that kept me going. I hope their second book will give these two the healing and closure they deserve! And I hope book Releasing 10 is going to be better than this one!
Audiobook
Jaqueline Milne & Matthew Forsythe, both deliver a truly great performance. Their delivery and cadence are spot-on, perfectly matched to the flow of the story and keeping you locked in from start to finish. You can feel that they’re fully invested in the storyline, which only draws you in deeper and it helped to finish the book.
