I think L.J. Andrews might be my new favorite author!

Again, Andrew’s does an outstanding job of connecting her characters and their worlds throughout this series. The continued story told from the point of view of the heirs of the royals in The Broken Kingdom series is greatly entertaining, thrilling, and the a perfect combination of heroism, wit, and adventure.
The character development is remarkable. I felt like I knew each character like they were old friends, as well as some new ones. The family ties Andrews created are relatable to a diverse audience. She does an excellent job at building suspense and unraveling secrets throughout the plot. There’s a perfect amount of revenge against the villains mixed with the heartwarming comforts of unconditional love. She even threw in some humor throughout the series. I can’t wait to read The Mist Thief. I wish I didn’t have to wait until November!

The narration from Will Thorne and Lucy Rivers is superb! They both added a level to these characters that created an amazing mind movie for the audience.

I loved that the chapters staggered with different characters.

this book was so captivating and kept me on the edge of my seat I felt like I knew the characters and was part of the realms I am so excited for the third book I can't wait.

vibrant, witty, amazing

I absolutely adored this duology. I often have a hard time liking female protagonists. At best I am indifferent and might like the story, side characters, world in spite of them. But I truly enjoyed Livia's perspective. She is fierce, witty, smart, and brave in spite of her anxiety. At no point did she do anything that made me roll my eyes, groan, or mutter about her being stupid (a rare feat). And I adored Eric. He is truly morally gray, willing to burn the world down for Livia. The author does a masterful job of showing Eric to be truly cruel and bloodthirsty when he needs to be, without remorse. But Livi brings out a softer, vulnerable side of him as he learns that love can be more powerful than hate, while he brings out the fiercely protective warrior in her. The other characters, the relatives and family members, and the world are all so vibrant and rich, full of witty banter and fierce loyalty to each other.

Lastly, the voice acting is top notch. I love that two actors were used for the two POV's, and they were expertly chosen. I look forward to reading everything by LJ Andrews now!

Well written

This story was beautifully written. I was captivated by the story. I love when I fall in love with the characters.

Cold heart melts with true love

A brutal fight among people brought together by a love so deep, separation and severance of bonds cannot keep their fated hearts apart.

Perfect binge

Trying to not gush, but i was absorbed into this book and the last. I stayed up way too late with these and zero regrets. Love that there can be strife and passionate love without unnecessary drama and age gaps.

This was a beautiful performance and as always a wonderful story!!! I can’t wait for the next installment

Story

I started book 1 on a whim but I am so glad I did. Book 2 is finished and I am looking purchase an physical copy of all these books. Thank you LJ Andrews for making hope for romance as spicy and passionate as these two are. Can’t wait to crack into book 3 and the broken kingdom.

I don’t want to ruin it but the come back is worth the read

This is so good- the Ever King’s commitment never falters and his voice never disappoints. This is a must read and a must listen!! 10/10 stars

Book 2 is just as Refreshing as Book 1!

This book was suspenseful, edgy, yet delightfully charming with its wicked twists and turns. Looking forward to more from the Ever Seas saga.
