Excellent story and novel worth the read

This is the first Audible book I've read by this author. I throughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Great book

I really enjoyed this book. I could see the area and the mountain people. The narrative was good as well. AnnGabhart always tells a good story.

Wonderful Book

I truely enjoyed this book immensely. This book caused my heart to flood with warm memories from my childhood. The dialog from the story and the dialect from the narrator brought memories from the depth of my minds of family members long past from Tennessee. The speech patterns and accents were emulated in the story's narration. This was the first book I have enjoyed from this author but will not be the last.

I really enjoyed the performance of the narrator- she captured the Appalachian dialect and the charm of the characters. The story is heartwarming
