Excellent!
Great narrator and a wonderful tale. At times it broke my heart and made me cry. At times I feared for the characters. But this is a story of relationships and family and nature and love. The twist near the end was something I did not see coming and it made me laugh. Don’t miss it!

This story really runs at your heart with its deeply human characters until you find yourself longing for them to make this or that decision, or for something specific to happen. I got more and more invested as the book went along, and the incredible narration really added to my enjoyment of the story. I definitely recommend this audiobook!

Very enjoyable book!!
I loved this book! So nicely written and easily flows. It was enjoyable to read a simple story about family love and trials and struggles ending in a sweet and gentle way. Shannon McManus did a wonderful job! Her voice is soft and lyrical like the country hills she spoke about. She nailed all of the voices just perfectly. Very nice job. I will recommend this book to my friends.
