A small vineyard planted in 1960 on the North side of volcano Etna at about 680 meters above sea level. The little village is Rovittello, a suburb of Castiglione di Sicilia, exactly in Contrada Dafara Galluzzo. The area is unique for the volcanic soil, rich in minerals, such as potassium, iron, and magnesium. The historic vineyard comprises Nerello Mascalese grapes, grown as a sapling on chestnut poles. There we can find other white grape varieties, such as Minella and Carricante, or red grapes such as Minella nera, this is because in ancient times were planted more cultivar. The first vintage was 2022 with 1600 bottles of Etna Rosato f grapes and 700 bottles of Etna Rosso.
