this is one of the only books which I have read that handles a inherently evil mc done well

Wonderful performance. the narrator really goes all in at the evil moments.

Really enjoyed how dark this story got. Perfect listening for the spooky season. Looking forward to what happens in the next part!

This book is a great Halloween release!
An Edgar Allen Poe and Lovecraft style read in a fantasy world.
The writing is well done and the narration is just what you want in a story like this. Mellow and steady to give you just the right level of the creeps.
Having an evil sentient bog was a proper choice.
If you're into the spooky genre, you will want to add this to your library.
I'm giving this book 6 out of 5 stars.
