Excellent Retelling!

Obsessed! Hexed is SO good. I loved all the little nods to The Little Mermaid and add in the mafia aspect I was hooked! Vanessa & Enzo have a story you do not want to miss!

This whole series is a good read with Hooked & Hexed now being my favorites!

This is my first listen from narrators Madeleine Dauer & Erik Bloomquist and they did such a great job bringing this book to life!

Sooooo Good

This books is by far my favorite out of the whole series! This was a dark retailing of The Little Mermaid and this time.. the villain gets the guy, but was she really the villain?? I was a little iffy at first hoping it wasn’t a book on cheating and let me just say it was not. I love how Enzo and Vanessa’s relationship started. The banter was great and it was kind of funny. You could tell both had trauma and helped each other heal. Once Enzo found out that Aria was not who she said she was and done with her and Vanessa saw how vial both her uncle and Aria were her and Enzo found each other. My heart broke at the end with Fisher, that truly made me sad. I am not sure how Emily is going to top this book because it was soo good.

I don't know where to begin. Wow. I already loved her other books but this one was absolutely fantastic. Love how she kept some things true to the original story and made her own and it was absolutely amazing. The detail, the twist and turns right when you think you know what's about to happen then another turn. Everything was absolutely fantastic.. the writing and the fact that it kept you on a choke hold the whole time you just don't want to put the book down. of course the spice 🥵 🫶🏽💯The audio was great as well. Absolutely amazing work and I'm looking forward to reading a lot more of her books. She out did herself!💔

Best in Never After Series

I really felt like this was the best book in the Never After series. It did take a bit to get used to the accents of the characters and sometimes it sounded like the MMC was angry when he talked especially during intimate scenes but overall good performance. It is long but story is complete !

Great Dark Romance With A Twist of Little Mermaid

The narration from both narrators was fantastic.
Especially, the male narrator. I loved his accent. Enzo, the main male character, was sexy and entertaining. He had me cracking up. I liked the plot of this book. It was captivating. It was creative how the author loosely took some concepts from The Little Mermaid and made the story her own. The Little Mermaid is my favorite fairytale.
